Using the flat edge of the applicator, fill in the pillows of the lips first to get the full saturation of color, then use the tip to perfect the edges and Cupid’s bow.
The product is usually completely set when it feels like a balm. If it feels sticky when you press your lips together, you should wait a bit longer.
If you prefer a lip brush, we recommend using a synthetic, small flat paddle brush that will pick up a generous amount of product.
If there’s an uneven surface caused by pressing your lips together before the product sets, simply apply another thin layer on top and wait at least 30 seconds to allow both layers to fully set.

Application Tips
1. SHAKE
Shake well for 5 seconds (you should hear a metal bead clicking).
2. OPEN
Slowly open upright to prevent spillage, like a nail polish.
3. SWIPE
Apply an even layer to each lip.
4. SET
Keep lips separated and allow product to dry for 10-15 seconds without blotting or rubbing to allow shine shield to form.
5. REMOVE
Remove with an oil-based makeup remover or cleanser. Store upright.

Water aerobics? The DENTIST? Yes, to both. This lip lacquer has no limits!
I first purchased a more natural color just to experiment with it -- to see if the product really did stay put. It performed well in day-to-day activities, staying on even after I sipped coffee and water all day. I was impressed! (Don't get me wrong, a little comes off, but the color is still there.) So, I decided to give the lip lacquer a more challenging test: I wore it to water aerobics. (Not that I want to wear lipstick when I work out, but at this point, I was having fun and saw an opportunity to put the product through another, more rigorous test. And it passed!) Then, for the ultimate test, I wore it to the dentist. Yes, the dentist! (I never wear lipstick to the dentist because it gets all over EVERYTHING -- me, him, the little napkin thing around my neck and all the tools.) And guess what? I told the dentist about the lipstick -- and HE was impressed! LOL! There were no lipstick smudges across my face or on his latex gloves! The dental hygienist was sold on the spot. I was sold, too, and bought a second color the next day. I would like to see Haus Labs provide an Atomic Shake Lip Lacquer shade in a raspberry. Other than that, I'm delighted with the product, Haus Labs. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to my ruby-red lips!
